Our client, a leader in automation technology, is seeking a Control Engineer to join their team. As a Control Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Control Engineer

Location : Princeton, Minnesota

Pay Range : $80,000 - $110,000

What's the Job?

Design and program equipment to meet Erdman and customer build specifications using standard procedures.
Conduct safety circuit design and programming via safety PLC.
Perform risk assessments and implement associated safety devices.
Travel to customer sites for installation and startup of equipment, averaging 25% travel.
Document control systems for various types of automated equipment.

What's Needed?

5 years of experience in designing and programming control systems for automated equipment.

Proficiency with PLC, HMI, Robot, AutoCAD, Motion Control, Pneumatics, and Hydraulics.

Experience with AutoCAD, Studio 5000, RS 500, and FactoryTalk View.

UL 508 certified design knowledge.

Ability to specify components and perform electrical / pneumatic design.
