Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

Location : In-Person Only Start Date : August 25, 2025 Contract Duration : 40 Weeks Work Hours : 37.5 Hours / Week

Position Summary

The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) supports licensed Speech Language Pathologists in delivering high-quality speech and language services. This role involves clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment-related activities, all performed under the supervision and direction of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist and / or physician.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing speech and language therapy plans as directed by the supervising SLP
• Conduct therapy sessions with individuals or groups
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
• Support educational and clinical activities within the scope of practice
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
