Pet Sitter Wanted - Experienced Pet Sitter For Reactive Dog Needed In Falls Church, Va Earn $125 Daily For Loving Pet Care!

Hello pet sitters in Falls Church, Virginia! I'm Nicole, and my partner Steve and I are loving parents to our rescue pup, Leia. She is a 4-yr old, 45lb mix who is very affectionate and smart but also highly reactive to other dogs and sometimes people. She needs 2-3 short walks a day and gets most of her exercise through indoor playtime. She wears a custom muzzle when outside of the home, and we drive her (~2 mins away) to locations where she can be walked with little chance of encountering other dogs. She is on medication and is very good about taking it (in pill pockets).

We are looking for someone who is comfortable with reactive dogs and preferably who has experience handling them, who has a car (to drive Leia to walk location) and can stay overnight in our two-bedroom apartment as well as be home with her for part of the day. We are open to discussing the option of boarding in your home (with no other pets) if that is a preference.

Rates are negotiable in light of her special needs. We typically require 2-4 (compensated) brief familiarization visits (including a trial overnight stay while we are nearby) to ensure compatibility and familiarity. Our immediate priority is for a sitter for the dates of 26-29 Sept (3 nights). Future availability in mid-Oct as well as over Thanksgiving and / or Christmas is a distinct plus.
