Description :

The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in chemotherapy infusion.

The role involves working Monday through Friday.

Work hours are from 8 am to 4 : 30 pm.

Candidates must have completed the ONS / ONCC Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate Course.

No on-call duties are required.

Experience in an infusion setting is necessary.

Knowledge of the EPIC charting system is required.

Candidates should have preferred experience in charge roles.

The expected patient ratio is 8 patients per nurse.

Candidates must be familiar with administering chemotherapy and managing side effects.

Skills required include accessing ports, managing IV lines, and patient education.

The patient population includes adults with various cancer diagnoses.

Daily census is approximately 60 patients.

Support from interdisciplinary teams is available.

Chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration are key responsibilities.

Candidates must be able to recognize and manage abnormal lab values.

Position will involve providing support and education to patients and families.

Potential candidates should not reside in specific designated counties.
