Support staff : NP s Monday Friday

Amount of coverage needed per month : 30 days 3 providers needed

Patients per day : Consult volume vary with patient census averaging 25 patients

Patient population / age : Rural population with high acuity GI service division. Multiple pathology. Adult 18 and above

Department description : Gastroenterology needing inpatient GI coverage. 7 on shift inpatient consultation plus procedures to manage one of two teams. 2nd team would be GI teaching service.

o 3rd position would cover 7 on, alternating with current faculty. Total of 3 locum need.

Special procedures : EGD Colon non-advanced procedures
