About the Role :

Verizon is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in data center infrastructure , network hardware , and logistics coordination . This role is instrumental in managing the installation, tracking, and delivery of data center cabinet builds, ensuring Verizon’s high standards and best practices are met throughout the process.

You will collaborate closely with the build team to optimize cabinet layout, track incoming hardware shipments, and schedule deliveries based on Verizon priorities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized , and has both technical knowledge and project management experience in networking and compute environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage data center cabinet build projects from device delivery through final deployment
• Ensure network and compute devices (Cisco, HP, Dell, Optics, etc.) are correctly installed per Verizon and industry standards
• Collaborate with build team to validate cabinet layout, offering design improvements and ensuring ancillary components (e.g., cable managers) are accounted for
• Track and report on the logistics of hardware shipments and inventory received for builds
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records in Verizon systems, including uploading documentation and installation details
• Schedule and coordinate cabinet delivery with warehouse schedulers and shipping teams based on project readiness
• Lead multiple projects in parallel, resolving roadblocks and ensuring on-time execution
• Communicate updates, risks, and timelines clearly to internal stakeholders
