Junior Program Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented, results-driven Junior Program Analyst to support our Deputy Program Manager and Financial Team in executing high-impact government contracts. You'll work closely with financial analysts, program managers, contract administrators, and government stakeholders to ensure efficient cost tracking, contract execution, and project success. This position supports the U.S. Coast Guard through our partnership with the U.S. Navy's Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC). Your contributions will help deliver innovative technical solutions to national security missions. You'll be based at Atlas Technologies in Charleston, SC with potential travel to various CONUS locations as requested. You Will :
- Organize, analyze, and track financial data with accurate monitoring, control, and reporting
- Assist Financial Team in executing task requirements, project and / or program objectives, risk, cost, and performance
- Read, understand, and analyze all contractual obligations for Prime and Subcontracts
- Comply with the deliverable requirements of each contract or subcontract you are assigned
- Research and review specifications and needed documentation to process contract requests
- Maintain accurate financial records; prepare charts, graphs, tables, reports, and other analyses as required
- Analyze and prepare estimates of service, material, equipment, travel, and production costs
- Track and manage direct costs on assigned contracts
- Gather and analyze data for program reviews and other meetings
- Assist with the purchase order process for Prime and Subcontracts
- Compile, create, edit, track, update, and send various spreadsheets and reports
- Consistently and accurately follow internal processes and procedures
- Interact regularly with internal departments, clients, and other industry representatives
- Responsible for mapping employees to contract based on contract requirements, ensuring proper alignment of roles, skills, direct jobs, and labor categories
You Have :
US CitizenshipThe ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security ClearanceKnowledge in reading and analyzing contract deliverablesExperience in cost estimation and reportingExperience in collecting and analyzing financial dataAdvanced knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets including Microsoft Word and ExcelStrong documentation and oral communication skills to clearly communicate with all levels of employees, management, and clientsStrong analytical skillsThe ability to work independently and the initiative to complete tasking without directionExcellent prioritization and coordination skills with the ability to work multiple deadlines under pressureStrong work ethic and commitment to qualityThe ability to work with others in a highly collaborative environmentEducation / Experience :
A college degree in Financial Management is preferred, but the combination of education, professional training, or work experience may be substituted for a degree.We'd Be Impressed If You Had :
Prior Program Analyst experience on a government contractExperience with US Coast Guard and / or US Navy projects and programsAs part of the selection process, candidates for this position may be required to complete an Excel competency assessment to evaluate proficiency in relevant skills.
