MoreSmiles Dental Spa is now hiring a Full Time Dental Assistant in the Greater Mandeville Area.
We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our community of collaborative, high-quality clinical, business and operations professionals.
Schedule : Monday - Wednesday 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm (1 hour for lunch)
Tuesday and Thursday 7 : 00 am - 4 : 00 pm (1 hour for lunch)
Friday : 8 : 00 am - 1 : 00 pm

Assist the Dentists chairsideGreets patients professionally and completes questionnaire to identify chief complaint and / or the goal of the appointmentPrepares patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring comfortSelection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as neededInstrument sterilization according to regulationsCompletes and maintains accurate patient recordsLab tasks as instructed and accurate lab trackingProvide post-operative care instructions and patient follow-upsMaintain clean and stocked operatoriesPlace and remove rubber damsTake impressionsCan efficiently and effectively make a temporary crownCaptures diagnostic xraysPack cordTake intraoral scansPatient EducationMake patient's next appointmentTeamwork is essential to our practice. Active Louisiana Expanded Duty Dental Assistants (EDDA) licenseDental Assistant training / school certification2 or more years of dental assisting clinical experienceKnowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methodsUnderstanding of health & safety regulationsExperience with digital softwareExcellent interpersonal skillsEqual Employment Opportunity
