Requirements

  • Experience : Minimum 1 year (first-time travelers accepted)
  • License : Active NY State License (must be in hand prior to submission)
  • Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, CRT

    • Skills & Competencies

  • Adult Critical Care & Emergency Department experience
  • Extubation, trach care, suctioning (oral / nasal), pulmonary hygiene, sputum collection
  • Aerosol setups (mask, trach, T-piece, trach collar, handheld, MDI)
  • Advanced respiratory support : BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC, weaning from mechanical ventilation
  • Medication administration : Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, Pulmicort, Xopenex, Racemic epinephrine, Tobramycin, Lidocaine, etc.
  • Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) interpretation
  • Troubleshooting high-pressure alarms
