Overview

R West is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Technical Producer to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality digital projects, including React-based web applications, WordPress and Drupal websites, and cloud-hosted experiences. This role bridges the gap between client needs and technical execution, ensuring successful delivery across strategy, UX, development, QA, and deployment. The ideal candidate communicates effectively with developers and clients, keeping teams aligned and projects on track.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership : Own projects from kickoff through launch, managing timelines, scope, resources, and budgets while keeping stakeholders informed and engaged.
Client Communication : Act as a primary point of contact for clients—translating technical concepts into clear, actionable updates, and building strong, collaborative relationships.
Technical Collaboration : Work closely with development teams to scope, prioritize, and troubleshoot tasks—especially for projects involving React, WordPress, Drupal, and AWS infrastructure.
Team Coordination : Facilitate collaboration between design, content, development, SEO, and analytics teams to ensure smooth workflows and alignment across disciplines.
Accessibility Compliance : Ensure deliverables meet ADA / WCAG guidelines, coordinating accessibility considerations throughout design and development.
Optimization & Performance : Support SEO best practices, analytics implementation, and performance monitoring using tools such as Google Analytics and SEMrush.
Documentation & Reporting : Maintain clear, detailed documentation of requirements, specifications, and status updates; prepare progress reports for internal teams and clients.

What Success Looks Like

Successfully led React, WordPress, and Drupal (nice to have) projects from discovery through launch, delivering on time, on budget, and to a high standard.

Builds trust with clients by communicating clearly, proactively addressing challenges, and presenting technical updates in an understandable way.

Coordinates with cross-functional teams using tools like Teamwork, Asana, Slack, and Figma to stay aligned and productive.

Understands development workflows and facilitates smooth handoffs between stages and teams.

Ensures every delivery meets accessibility, performance, and SEO standards using tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and performance auditing software.

Nice to Have

Experience with headless CMS architectures or API-first frameworks

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines or DevOps workflows

Advanced accessibility testing knowledge (WCAG compliance)

Experience leading cross-functional teams or managing vendor relationships
