Electrical Controls Engineer

Job Responsibilities :

• Responsible for the development and implementation of engineering projects to improve the manufacturing operations and processes.
• Designs and implements control systems and panels to maintain and improve manufacturing capabilities and sustainability.
• Prepares cost estimates for new items needed for production and new or modified equipment control needs.
• Selects manufacturing controls equipment; prepares specifications, confers with vendors and prepares capital appropriations.
• Responsible for advising Manager, Engineering as to plant equipment needs and pending problem areas involving plant equipment.
• Assists with preparation of expense and capital forecasts, budgets, controls and expenditures.
• Troubleshoot, modify or create new controls, including PLC and other programming.
• Other duties as assigned.
