Senior Center Custodian

Edmond Senior Center Cleaning Position

Starting Salary : $15.00 Per Hour.

Primary office location : 2733 Marilyn Williams Dr

Our Mission : The Edmond Senior Center provides comprehensive programs and services to improve the quality of life for mature adults through recreation, nutrition, socialization, and education.

We are passionate about enhancing the lives of our senior citizens, providing excellent customer service, making a meaningful difference in the lives of senior citizens.

This position plays an integral part in the departments mission and must have a willingness and desire to assist senior adults with a high degree of courtesy and respect.

The Work :

• Perform general cleaning, to include cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, replenish supplies, empty trash, sweep and mop.
• Vacuum, dust, clean windows / doors, clean walls / woodwork, and touch up painting.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining kitchen and lunchroom.
• Move furniture and equipment for various functions.
• Keep building in good working order and assist with minor repairs.
• Observe, interact with, and be helpful to center participants.
• Maintain outdoor patios, areas in vicinity of buildings, and the parking lot. Keep sidewalks clear of debris, snow, and ice.
• Daily schedule of 7 : 00am - 3 : 00pm.
