Now Hiring : Full-Time Driver / Hiker
We’re looking for a reliable, responsible, and dog-loving professional to join our pack as a full-time Driver / Hiker. This role is essential to keeping our operation running smoothly — safely transporting dogs to and from hikes, assisting with loading / unloading, and hiking a pack of 4 dogs for 2-hours.
What You’ll Do
Safely operate a Hike Doggie van to pick up and drop off client dogs from their homes across our service areas (Arvada, Broomfield, Louisville, Superior, Lafayette, Erie, and Boulder).Maintain a consistent schedule with safety and reliability. Pickups begin around 7 : 30 AM and drop-offs are completed by mid-afternoon.Handle dogs of all breeds and sizes with confidence and care during loading / unloading.Hike a pack of 4 dogs, on-leash for 2 hours, take pictures and give lots of loveKeep the vehicle clean, organized, and ready for daily routes, including light washing and sanitizing of kennels and floors.Follow all Hike Doggie safety and cleanliness protocols.Communicate clearly and professionally with teammates and clients.Capture photos and short updates for client communication or social media.Who You Are
Dog-Obsessed : You love dogs, understand basic dog behavior, and know how to calmly and safely handle them.Reliable & Punctual : You value consistency and show up on time, every time — our clients (and their pups) depend on it.Safe Driver : You have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and confidence operating large, branded vehicles on city and mountain roads.Physically Capable : Able to lift dogs up to 60 lbs, load gear, and handle light cleaning tasks.Weather-Ready : Comfortable working outdoors year-round — rain, snow, or shine — and keeping a positive attitude.Detail-Oriented : You follow instructions carefully, keep accurate timing, and maintain vehicle and dog safety standards.Tech-Savvy : You own a smartphone with a data plan for GPS navigation, communication, and route management.Qualifications
1+ years of driving, delivery, or transportation experience preferredDog handling experience (personal or professional) preferredMust pass a driving record check and background screeningMust live within reasonable commuting distance to ArvadaBenefits
