Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Job Title : Senior Mechanical Engineer

Position Type : Regular Full-Time

Location : Spring City, PA

Salary : $90K - $110K + Bonus Opportunity

Position Summary :

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components for industrial applications, with a focus on hydraulic and machined / welded assemblies. This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on design experience, and the ability to manage projects from concept through production. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop engineering sketches, specifications, and design data for new products
• Select appropriate materials based on safety, performance, and cost considerations
• Perform mechanical and hydraulic analysis on components such as cylinders and swivels
• Manage engineering projects from initial concept through full production release
• Create detailed manufacturing drawings for machining, welding, and assembly
• Develop DFMEAs and corresponding test plans to mitigate design risks
• Utilize CAD and analysis tools (SolidWorks preferred) for design and validation
• Interpret and apply industry standards (ASTM, ASME, ANSI, ABS, DNV, etc.)
• Prepare and review project documentation in accordance with internal and industry standards
• Communicate design requirements effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance to optimize manufacturability
• Evaluate and approve design changes through continuous improvement initiatives
• Support reliability testing and prepare project reports
• Uphold the highest ethical standards in all aspects of work
