Job Title : Licensed Customs Broker

Location : Wood Dale, IL

Job Type : Full-Time

Role Overview :

This is a foundational role for a licensed customs broker ready to step into leadership. You will be the named license holder and work directly with executive leadership to stand up the customs brokerage function, ensure compliance, and shape internal processes and training

Key Responsibilities :

Serve as the designated license holder for the company

Oversee and review customs entries for international shipments (air and ocean)

Ensure ongoing compliance with CBP regulations and procedures

Collaborate with internal operations and warehouse teams to streamline documentation

Educate and train internal staff on best practices and customs compliance

RequirementsMust-Haves :

Active U.S. Customs Broker License

Clean credit history (will be reviewed for license designation)

Experience managing customs entries for both air & ocean freight

Solid understanding of U.S. import / export procedures and CBP regulations

Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills

Willingness to take on the responsibility of holding the company’s license
