Description :

Looking for Registered Nurses in the Med / Surg specialty.

Shifts are 12 hours long, from 7 AM to 7 PM.

Guaranteed hours per week are 36.

Weekend requirement is every other weekend.

Floating is required as needed based on skillset.

This is a Level IV trauma center with a total of 155 beds.

Common diagnoses include CHF, pneumonia, sepsis, cardiac issues, ESRD, post-op bariatrics, orthopedic, ENT, and general surgery.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 5 : 1 during the day and 6 : 1 at night.

Charting is done using Cerner.

Scrub color is navy blue.

Floats will primarily be from the ICU and Women’s Center.
