• Experience in Med / Surg nursing
• Strong clinical knowledge in common diagnoses such as Stroke, Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, and COVID-19.

Description :

This position requires a Registered Nurse in the Med / Surg specialty.

The nurse will work a 12-hour AM shift, with a total of 36 hours per week.

The nurse will provide care for patients with a variety of common medical / surgical diagnoses.

The nurse may need to float to other Med / Surg units based on skillset.

The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1 : 6.

Charting will be performed using the Cerner system.

Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend.

Experience in working with a 24-bed unit is preferred.

Candidates should have effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

This position does not involve special procedures.
