Housekeeper And Laundry Attendant

As a Housekeeper and Laundry Attendant at Columbine Commons, you will clean resident's rooms, baths, offices, halls, and other areas. What will you be doing as a Housekeeper and Laundry Associate :

• Resident Rooms and Common Areas : Clean resident rooms and toilets, shower rooms, tub rooms, public toilets, halls, dining areas, and sitting areas. Wash beds and mattresses, remake beds, dust all areas, polish metalwork, wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills. Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal area.
• Floors and Carpets : Sweep and scrub floors, clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Utility and Storage Rooms : Keep utility and storage rooms clean and orderly.
• Laundry : Wash, dry, fold, sort, hang, and distribute laundered articles and linen. Clean laundry area, sweep, mop, empty trash, clean lint trays, dust, and clean washers and dryers.
• Housekeeping Carts and Supplies : Load housekeeping carts with supplies and follow the recommended list for stocking. Replenish linen closet throughout the facility.
• Disinfection and Sterilization : Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies.
• Reporting and Scheduling : Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules. Report structural and equipment wear, defects, and malfunctions to the supervisor. Report supply and equipment needs to the supervisor.
• Food Service Assistance : Help serve food trays in the dining room if applicable.
