Insight Global is currently seeking 2 Construction Project Managers for our Program Management team for Orange County Public Schools located in Orlando, FL supporting one of our largest customers. This role will support multiple construction projects, coordinate with other Project Managers, designers, and end users to verify that projects will be completed successfully within the assigned time frame and budget. A bulk of the projects / scope of the projects will be renovation and restoration work in k-12 schools. As this role will require travel to different job sites around Orange County, miles will be reimbursed.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience as a construction PM with a majority of experience being commercial construction, renovation, and restoration
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- Must be willing to travel around Orange County to different job sites
Key Tasks :
Manages, oversees and coordinates all facets of the pre-construction, bid and award, construction and close-out phase of all assigned projectsReviews pre-construction documents and submits comments to Designer as necessaryPlans, organizes, and prepares reports to upper management with respect to the status and / or progress of the projectsCoordinates with all pertinent public agencies during pre-construction and construction to comply with all off-site work, coordinates with various District and Project staffManages project budget and schedule to meet client standards; Monitors the project budget on a monthly basis and ensures that the budget accurately reflects the project status / progressReceives, reviews, and negotiates Contractor Change Order Proposal(s) to achieve a fair & reasonable price in accordance with the General Conditions; reviews and addresses any and allSchedule impacts in accordance with the project specifications in a timely mannerReviews the process and monitors payments for the contractor, architects, engineers and any other pertinent partiesAdministers provisions of Professional Service Agreements between Architects and the clientCoordinates District delivery of related fixtures, furniture and equipmentMonitors project close-out with respect to project certification with the Division of State Architects (DSA) and project financial close outPerform other related duties as assignedHourly Pay : $63.22 / hr
Hours : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm
