About the role

The Business Development Executive career path prepares candidates for a stimulating and rewarding sales career in the exciting software technology and services industry. This 12 – 18-month program puts you in the center of a fast-paced and world-class sales training environment focused on lead generation and talent development. From your first day, you'll gain valuable core sales skills that will deliver an impact through lead generation and qualification at our high growth, Best Place to Work culture. A successful BDE will progress into an advanced Account Executive career which provides increased earning potential, and our promote-from-within culture.

What you'll do

  • Sourcing & qualifying quality leads for the Sales & Marketing team

Interacting by phone, email and other means with key personnel up to, and including, C-Level Executives

  • Acquiring & maintaining a working knowledge of Oasis Solutions technology and service offerings to become a trusted advisor to prospects.
  • Uncovering & qualifying prospective customer needs, understanding business processes, identifying projects, determining requirements, and ascertaining potential solutions
  • First contact for prospects of Oasis Solutions business via outbound calls.
  • Performs database and record-keeping activities.

    • Qualifications

  • Able to demonstrate time management, basic tele sales skills, and knowledge of Oasis' products and services (training provided).
  • Goal-oriented individual.
  • Able to complete individual goals as well as work in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate using technical concepts.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Desire for a long-term career in sales in the tech industry.
  • Able to gain competence in own area and acquire a higher-level understanding of the role, processes, and procedures of the organization.
  • Coachable, self-motivated, passionate, creative, curious, and resilient, with a get the job done attitude.
  • Well-rounded with varied interests, background, and experience
