Registered Respiratory Therapist - Neonatal Intensive Care - (RRT - NICU)

Travel Neonatal Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) jobs in Florida offer you the chance to provide specialized respiratory care to newborns in neonatal intensive care units. You will evaluate and monitor the respiratory needs of infants, administer oxygen therapy, operate mechanical ventilators, and collaborate with neonatologists and other medical professionals to design and implement treatment plans. Your role includes monitoring and adjusting ventilator settings, performing endotracheal intubation or extubation, conducting pulmonary function tests, and providing education and emotional support to parents. You will also maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment and document patient progress and changes in treatment plans 123.

To qualify, you should be a Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience in neonatal or NICU settings. Skills in mechanical ventilation, CPAP, and surfactant replacement therapy are highly valued. Licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Florida is required, along with strong knowledge of respiratory care for newborns 123.
