A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity : RN - CVICU Job Details : - Provide direct patient care to medical / surgical / cardiovascular patients requiring advanced monitoring - Operate advanced medical equipment including central lines, A-lines, multiple IVs, balloon pumps, and Impella pumps - Care for patients requiring ventilation support or continuous renal replacement therapy - Provide care for general medical and surgical patients on the in-patient unit - Assess and implement established policies and procedures with minimal supervision - Act as clinical leader and assist with precepting staff - Provide direct patient care from admission to discharge including discharge planning - Give direction to RN, LPN, CNA, housekeeping staff, and dietary staff - Receive direction from providers, charge nurse, acute care director, and chief nursing officer - Willing to care for PCU and medical surgical patients when no ICU / CVICU patients are in house - Position classified as rapid response crisis staffing need Facility : This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility providing advanced cardiovascular and critical care services to the community.
