Schedule Days : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM Nights : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM
This is a great opportunity for an RN seeking to utilize critical thinking skillsets in a highly acute, specialized setting. The Neurology team provides care for a variety of acute patients - including stroke, seizures, traumatic brain injuries, brain tumors and bleeds.

Overview :
Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
Qualifications : Education
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN preferred)
Licensure
Current RN license in Missouri or compact license per state regulations
Must maintain active licensure and meet all regulatory requirements
Certifications
Required : BLS (AHA) – or obtained within 30 days of hire
Preferred / Unit-Dependent : ACLS, PALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., CPHON, OCN, C-EFM, or other specialty certifications
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift / push / pull up to 50 lbs
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching
Experience
Clinical experience preferred; specialty experience may be required by unit
