Overview
Southeastern Equipment Company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Associate to perform maintenance and repair tasks across our facilities, including work in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, landscaping, and equipment upkeep. The role requires dependability, hands-on capability, and a commitment to safe, efficient operations. Location : Multiple Sites (Travel by company provided vehicle); based out of Cambridge, Ohio. Job Type : Full-Time. FLSA Classification : Non-Exempt. Travel Required : Yes. Tool Requirement : Yes, a set of personal tools is required and will be inventoried during the employment process.
Base pay range : $18.00 / hr - $21.00 / hr. This range is provided by Southeastern Equipment Company. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of buildings, systems, and equipment
- Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
- Complete carpentry tasks such as drywall repair, framing, and fixture installation
- Paint and touch up surfaces as needed
- Assist with landscaping and snow removal as required
- Maintain records of work orders, repairs, and inspections
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with regulations
- Travel between company locations as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious experience in maintenance or a related tradeKnowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systemsAbility to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsValid driver\'s license with a clean driving record (required)Must pass a background check and drug screeningBasic personal toolset required (e.g., hammer, screwdrivers, tape measure, etc)Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays if neededPhysical Requirements
Ability to lift / move up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally over 100 lbsFrequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, and crawlingUse of heavy power toolsDaily inspections and work on heavy construction equipmentVisual abilities : close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustmentWhy Work With Us
