Schedule : Afternoon (2 : 00pm to 10 : 30pm) or Overnight (10 : 00pm to 6 : 30am) WE NEED CANDIDATES WHO ARE FLEXIBLE AND CAN WORK EITHER SHIFT.
Background : Must be able to pass Background Check and Drug Test (No Exceptions)
Education : Must have High School Diploma
Salary : $22.00 per Hour to start
Experience :
At least 1 year Shipping / Logistics (inbound / Outbound) experience
SAP experience is required
At least 6 months experience Driving Forklift / Hi-Lo
GENERAL PURPOSE :
Ship material to internal and external customers efficiently, accurately and safely.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Prepare and verify inbound shipments :
Verify count, code and condition of all inbound shipments
Applies all required labels and ensures all SAP transactions and physical movements have been completed.
Process all RGO's related to customer returns and provide completed forms to line management
Perform "receipt" transactions for items received for various individuals and / or groups on the plant.
Perform various palletization
Daily / Monthly Audits :
Ensuring all SAP transaction for all checkers have been accurately completed
PGI Report
Empty Bin
Trailer Audits
Manual Shippers
Cut Notifications
Perform various palletization and stock put away in both warehouses :
Recognize temperature sensitive stock and put away in designated storage areas
Perform the following duties - to include but not limited to :
Use various printers, computers and email systems in the normal duties of the job
Complete and properly file paperwork involved with the receipt of materials into the warehouse
Prepare and verify outbound shipments : Create Deliveries from Order Acknowledgements when required Attach deliveries to Shipment
Understand and accurately demonstrate use of Batch Splitting
Create Transfer Orders from Delivery
Accurately prepare all shipping documentation for all truckload, L.T.L., and FedEx shipments.
Creates and applies all customer GTL labels
Receive and locate finished product into inventory
Properly files paperwork associated with all shipments
The Traffic Board updates and ensures all transactions in SAP have been processed at the time of shipment.
Properly complete all non-system generated shipments (Manual Shipments), and commentate with Customer Service and Super Key User Groups
Accurately account for all inventory shipped
Responsible for contacting carriers when an issue develop related to freight pick up.
Perform periodic Inventory verifications :
Weekly Cycle Counting
Empty Bin Reporting
Empty Clean Container counts
Serve as the Shipping Lead Resource by answering questions and problem solving / resolving issues pertaining to Shipping functionality and capability, including, but not limited to : Inventory, Shipment History and QVR investigation. Interact and act as lead resource with all functions of the plant - Finance, Material Management, Purchasing, Planning, Scheduling, Labs, CSR's, Production and off-site warehouses. Training, Communication and Certifications : Assist in developing training materials, procedures and training manuals that pertain to the checker position :
Lead Trainer for assigned shift
Maintain necessary and required "Mode of Transportation" certifications :

Takes active part in Tier 1 boards
Effectively communicate issues with any inbound or outbound shipments with customer service, replenishment planners and or line management.
Effectively communicates all cuts with customer service and account team by using cut notification form.
Effectively communicates with SKU group on all inventory or SAP related issues.
Follow all site and area guidelines pertaining to all functions within the plant and assigned tasks.
