Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a night shift travel assignment requiring ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification and proficiency with GE MRI systems.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital MRI department
  • Night shift schedule : 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7 : 00 PM to 5 : 00 AM
  • Performs MRI procedures on ambulatory and inpatient populations
  • Utilizes GE MRI equipment
  • Reports to a Radiologist and functions under general supervision
  • No local travelers accepted due to a 50-mile radius rule
  • Responsibilities include performing high quality MRI scans, maintaining safety and infection control, and accurate documentation
  • Expected to provide clear communication and instruction to patients and families regarding procedures
  • Team environment with potential responsibility for training new team members
  • Must be able to serve pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations
  • Grey or black scrubs required; scrubs not provided

    • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Minimum 2 years of recent MRI Technologist experience
  • Current BLS certification through AHA required
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
  • GE MRI experience required
  • Active TX license required if applicable
  • Flu vaccination is mandatory during flu season (August – November), with no exemptions
  • Two professional references required
