As a Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA), you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and security of complex database systems. This hybrid opportunity allows you to work closely with technical teams while contributing to projects that support essential services for communities.
WORKSITE :
Hybrid - Gold River, CA
(Onsite 2 days per week, with additional onsite as needed for meetings and collaboration.)
WORK SCHEDULE :
Monday–Friday | 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM PST
Weekend and evening work may be required to support scheduled maintenance or production incidents.
PAY RATE : $55.00

WHAT YOU'LL DO :
Monitor database activity, file usage, and resource availability.
Recommend and implement tuning opportunities to improve system response and run times.
Define logical attributes, data inter-relationships, and design complex data structures for optimized performance.
Develop load balancing architectures and processes to maximize uptime and minimize downtime during backups.
Implement and support database security regulations, policies, and guidelines.
Serve as a technical project leader on installations and upgrades of DBMS software and backup / recovery strategies.
Integrate databases with commercial off-the-shelf software; troubleshoot conflicts with OS and open-source applications.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
6+ years of experience in database design or maintenance
Experience with database creation techniques, performance tuning, and DBMS features
Strong understanding of hardware / software installation and upgrade procedures
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proven ability to lead technical teams and anticipate potential issues
Willingness to travel as required
MINIMUM EDUCATION :
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE :
6+ Years of relevant Oracle DBA experience
