RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location : Mount Sinai West, 1000 Tenth Avenue, New York, NY 10019

Start Date : November 10, 2025

End Date : February 7, 2026

Schedule : Night Shift, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM, 3 shifts / week (Every Other Weekend required)

Unit Census : Average 12 patients

Unit Beds : 18

Staffing : 1-2 nurses per shift

Shift Pattern : 3x12-hour shifts

Job Overview :

Provide safe, competent nursing care to L&D patients using evidence-based nursing practices and the Relationship Centered Care model. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care plans, prioritize patient safety and experience, and engage in continuous quality improvement. Must be capable of floating within competency, including to postpartum.

Essential Duties :

Qualifications :

NYS RN License required

Minimum 2 years L&D nursing experience required

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

EPIC electronic health record experience highly preferred
