As a Project Manager, you will make an impact by leading and delivering complex projects for our client in the manufacturing sector. You will be a valued member of the consulting team and work collaboratively with managers, cross-functional teams, and clients.

In this role, you will :

  • Lead end-to-end project management for client initiatives, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Oversee migration projects, coordinating with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, providing regular status updates to leadership and clients.
  • Facilitate communication between client teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement and best practices in project delivery.

Work model

Based on this role's business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 4 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Detroit, MI. The working arrangements for this role are accurate as of the date of posting. This may change based on the project you're engaged in, as well as business and client requirements. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations.

What you must have to be considered

  • Previous project management experience, preferably in a consulting or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing OSV migration projects, preferred
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • These will help you succeed

  • Experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Familiarity with large-scale technology migrations.
