About The Position

Barton is seeking an experienced OB / GYN for an 8-day locum tenens assignment in Kentucky, starting Sep 15, 2025. This opportunity features 24-hour call coverage shifts, handling deliveries and C-sections over two specific work periods. Applicants should also be board certified in OB / GYN, and should have an active Kentucky medical license.

  • Schedule : 24-hour call coverage shifts, 7AM - 7AM

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as the primary Obstetrician / Gynecologist on call for deliveries and C-sections during the specified assignment dates
  • Conduct typical rounding and patient consults
  • Ensure all cases meet required case log standards

  • Kentucky medical license required
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
  • Proficiency with Meditech EHR preferred
  • Must be experienced in deliveries and C-sections
