Adheres to all PPE and safety requirements. Aware of and complies with the RWMIC Quality Manual and regulations & requirements as they apply to this job type / position. Completes all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines. Other duties as assigned by Production Manager – Optics. High School Diploma or equivalent 1 year of general manufacturing assembly or 1 year of small part assembly experience preferred. Ability to use microscopes, small tooling, soldering equipment, solvents & adhesives is preferred. Ability to cross train in multiple assemblies Must possess ability to understand assembly drawings and written assembly procedures. Basic understanding of measuring devices and ability to use calipers, gauges, micrometers, etc. is preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred Basic PC skills Experience with and understanding cross-cultural differences and the ability to work within this environment is crucial for successful employment Stand / Sit / Walk 8 hours per day The following work environment conditions may exist : Infectious Disease Exposure Laser Exposure Chemicals Exposure RWMIC offers annual Immunizations for Hep B and Flu Shots to all RWMIC employees. Responsible for the assembly and repair of rigid & flexible medical endoscopes and industrial adapters.
REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assembles and repairs rigid & flexible medical endoscopes.
- Assembles and disassembles electronic components.
- Performs cleaning and inspection of various components.
- Ensures assemblies will pass QC inspections or be reworked or replaced.
- Performs maintenance on equipment and work areas used by department as needed.
- Completes daily production documentation accurately.
