INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN / MILLWRIGHT

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Millwright (sometimes called a Maintenance Technician) to join our team. As a Millwright at Franklin Industries, you will be responsible for assembling, disassembling, installing, and maintaining vital machinery as well as performing comprehensive diagnostics on all machinery to ensure maximum and safe functionality. The millwright must also log the use, state of repair, and replacement of all equipment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble, install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in industrial settings.
• Fabricate parts using machine tools and equipment
• Analyze and troubleshoot machinery malfunctions
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and accurately log all maintenance
• Perform diagnostic tests on functioning machinery to ensure safe and efficient functionality
• Disassemble machinery and transport it to the appropriate storage location

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

STARTING PAY - Typically between $ 28 - $32 / hour (commensurate with experience). Compensation above our posted rate may be considered for extremely skilled and motivated individuals . OT is paid at 1.5x pay after 40 hours. New employees are eligible for merit raises and more cross training opportunities after passing their 90-day probationary period.
