Operating Room Registered Nurse 2

Overview : \nAs an Operating Room Registered Nurse 2 at Teays Valley Hospital, you will demonstrate competent clinical skills, utilize critical thinking to identify and meet patient needs, and achieve positive patient outcomes through group process. You will also display leadership traits that contribute to attainment of patient and departmental goals, assist with unit QI / research projects, and identify actual legal / ethical issues and implement appropriate nursing actions. Responsibilities : \n1. Patient Care : Demonstrates consistent use of nursing process in daily practice and manages more complex patients with minimal assistance. 2. Knowledge and Skills : Identifies personal learning needs to be competent in area of practice; independently performs advanced skills; begins to assist others to develop skills using the teaching / learning process. 3. Professional Relationships / Leadership : Initiate and effectively demonstrate behaviors which result in positive patient outcomes through group process; identifies need to change own practice based on PI / QI outcomes. 4. Quality Improvement / Research : Expands understanding of research process and the specific application to nursing practice. Qualifications : \n

• Associate's Degree (Required)\n
• 1 Year of RN experience\n
• Registered Nurse (Required)\n
• Basic Life Support (Required) Within 30 days of hire\n
