Make Healthcare Better : We use advanced technology to support our team and enhance patient care.Get to Know Your Team : Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed community-owned facility offering 24-hour emergency services, cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, diagnostic imaging, withdrawal stabilization, wound care and urology. ResponsibilitiesCommitted to a 12 consecutive week assignmentAssigned to a specific unit, but due to fluctuating census, could be pulled to another unit or HHS facilityScheduled for a minimum of 36 hours per week or 72 hours per pay period, including a minimum of six weekend shifts in a six-week schedule period (where applicable)Complete hospital / nursing / computer orientation and credentialing with minimal unit orientationRequired to work holidays during their agreement periodExpected to work all scheduled shifts as assigned unless cancelled by the Staffing Office, department manager, and / or House supervisorExpected to participate in all mandatory educationEvaluated by and held accountable for performance based on the standard hospital job descriptions for their respective position Expected to comply with all HHS policies, procedures, and patient care standards QualificationsJob Requirements : Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN)Current valid and unrestricted Oklahoma license or multi-state licensure as Registered NurseMinimum of one (1) year recent (within last two years) hospital experience in selected areaNOT have had employment with Hillcrest Healthcare System within the preceding six months unless exception is made by Director of HR and CNO and approved by the regional VP of HRSatisfactory completion of the interview process including background and reference checks and post offer physical and urine drug screenBasic Life Support (BLS) CertifiedAppropriate certifications as required dependent upon areaPreferred Job Requirements : Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)In-House Travelers acknowledge that this is a temporary employment assignment and are not eligible for benefits except those mandated by law. The In-House Traveler is ineligible for all differentials including critical staffing premiums.
