Job Title : Cardiac Anesthesiologist

Excellent full-time opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join a well-established and reputable private practice. The Anesthesia Group of Albany is the largest anesthesia group in the Albany-Troy-Saratoga region and has a history of providing compassionate care over the past four decades. With a high-volume inpatient heart center and a state-of-the-art facility, this is an ideal environment for dedicated anesthesiology professionals. Key Responsibilities :
- Provide anesthesia care for patients undergoing cardiac surgical procedures, including CABG, valve replacements, and other complex cardiac surgeries.
- Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care of cardiac patients.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of anesthesia protocols and practices.
- Assist in covering cases across St. Peter's Hospital and Samaritan Hospital campuses.
- Schedule consists of variable 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts.
- Participate in a call rotation of 1 : 5 with first call every eighth night, no second call required.
- Maintain strong interpersonal and communication skills and a commitment to providing compassionate care.
Qualifications :
Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Anesthesia.ECHO Board Certified and / or completion of a Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship.Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship-Trained (highly preferred).Must hold a valid New York license or be willing to obtain one.BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications by the time of start.License and Certification Requirements :
