Requirements & Qualifications :
5–8 years of experience in federal proposal writing or business developmentStrong understanding of federal procurement and acquisition processes (FAR / DFARS)Proven ability to write and edit technical and management narratives with clarity and complianceExperience supporting proposals in A / E / C, O&M, construction management, or related fieldsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teamsMust Haves :
Write and edit compliant, persuasive proposal sections across all volumes (technical, management, past performance)Review and interpret federal solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, IDIQs, task orders) for compliance and response strategyCollaborate with project managers, capture leads, and SMEs to translate technical input into winning narrativesDevelop and maintain proposal outlines, compliance matrices, and templates to ensure efficient proposal productionCoordinate color team reviews, manage schedules, and maintain consistency across deliverablesSupport capture and business development efforts by preparing marketing collateral, presentations, and client meeting materialsTrack, report, and analyze pipeline activity to support leadership in growth strategy executionPreferred Background & Skills :
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, Engineering, or a related fieldExperience with IDIQ and task order proposalsFamiliarity with design-build and design-bid-build contracting environmentsKnowledge of proposal management tools such as SharePoint, Teams, or Azure DevOpsAPMP certification or similar training in proposal or capture managementExperience supporting business development with federal agencies (DoD, USACE, GSA, etc.)
