Tentative Shift Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (40 Hours / Week).

Job Description :

The Board of Osteopathic Examiners in Medicine and Surgery is charged with protecting the health, safety, and welfare of the public through the enforcement of the laws that govern the practice of Osteopathic Medicine in the State of Arizona. Critical functions of meeting that mission include :

• Reviewing and verifying the education and qualification of individuals applying for a license or permit to practice.
• Issuing initial licenses and Post-Graduate Training Certificates.
• Providing public information regarding licensure upon request.

The functions listed require key staff to ensure that processes are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

The Licensing Administrator will be responsible for processing and reviewing applications, serving as the main point of contact for all inquiries regarding licensure and the process of obtaining a license or permit.

Responsibilities include evaluating applications for completeness, processing licensure, post-graduate training permits, and renewals.

Processing fingerprint cards and background checks; primary contact for DPS and fingerprinting issues.

Providing verbal and written support to the public, including in-person, telephone, or email communications.

Processing incoming and outgoing mail, receipts of payments, and date stamping all materials.

Supporting the preparation, conduct, and conclusion of Board Meetings.

Performing other duties as assigned related to the position.

Minimum Education Level :

High School Diploma or equivalent
