Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of clinic experience and active state licensure for a day shift outpatient assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Outpatient physical therapy department setting
  • Day shift schedule, 4 days per week, 9 hours per day
  • Assignment is 12 weeks in duration
  • Duties include patient assessment, developing treatment goals, delivering therapy, and providing education related to independent living and upper extremity function
  • Responsible for functional cognitive retraining, assistive equipment recommendations, and splinting / positioning mechanics
  • Regularly reassesses patient progress and modifies treatment plans as appropriate
  • Supervises and delegates responsibilities to students, assistants, and technicians within the scope of authority

  • Current, valid Occupational Therapist state license required if applicable
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant clinical experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school is required
  • Active BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Experience with Epic charting system
