Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring night shifts and specialized certifications in Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

Position is in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit

Works with a variety of patients including those with complex health needs

12-hour night shifts, 3 days per week

No local candidates within a 50-mile radius are eligible for this role

Duties include administering medications, monitoring patients, assisting in examinations and minor procedures, and managing IV infusions and blood products

Will coordinate care, communicate with patients and families, and delegate tasks to support staff

Must maintain effective communication and respond to the cultural and language needs of patients

Must adhere to the hospital dress code and policies

Extensions beyond 26 weeks require a 6-month break before reapplying

Requirements

Active OK or compact RN license required

Minimum of one year of Labor & Delivery experience

Associate's degree from an accredited nursing program required

Certifications required : AHA BLS, ACLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and NRP (Advance Provider or Instructor)
