job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPosition based in a short-term acute care hospital with 8-10 X-ray techs on days Rotates weekly through outpatient orthopedics, surgery, fluoroscopy, and portable X-rays Primarily adult transplant and oncology patient population Uses Cerner EMR, prior experience required Day shifts Monday through Friday, various shift lengths available (8, 10, or 12 hours) Weekend shifts and on-call required, including 2 weekday and 2 weekend on-call shifts per month Floating within the hospital and affiliate hospitals is required Duties include operating X-ray equipment, rotating through outpatient, surgical, and portable assignments, and working with a multidisciplinary team Scrubs are provided by the facility Candidates must be able to work 2 out of 3 major holidays as scheduled Free parking is available on-site Local candidates are accepted for allied positions Any former perm or PRN employees must have been away for 12 months before being considered Up to 5 days of non-holiday requested time off may be auto-approved; more requires facility approval Pre-employment modules must be completed online prior to starting Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of recent X-ray tech experience Active ARRT and BLS certifications required Current Indiana state X-ray license required and must be in hand prior to start (license required if applicable) Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE-accredited program required Experience with Cerner EMR required COVID and flu vaccinations required First-time travelers are accepted High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
