American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 18 months to 2 years of experience and active ARRT and BLS certifications for a role serving primarily adult transplant and cancer patients.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position based in a short-term acute care hospital with 8-10 X-ray techs on daysRotates weekly through outpatient orthopedics, surgery, fluoroscopy, and portable X-raysPrimarily adult transplant and oncology patient populationUses Cerner EMR, prior experience requiredDay shifts Monday through Friday, various shift lengths available (8, 10, or 12 hours)Weekend shifts and on-call required, including 2 weekday and 2 weekend on-call shifts per monthFloating within the hospital and affiliate hospitals is requiredDuties include operating X-ray equipment, rotating through outpatient, surgical, and portable assignments, and working with a multidisciplinary teamScrubs are provided by the facilityCandidates must be able to work 2 out of 3 major holidays as scheduledFree parking is available on-siteLocal candidates are accepted for allied positionsAny former perm or PRN employees must have been away for 12 months before being consideredUp to 5 days of non-holiday requested time off may be auto-approved; more requires facility approvalPre-employment modules must be completed online prior to starting\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of recent X-ray tech experienceActive ARRT and BLS certifications requiredCurrent Indiana state X-ray license required and must be in hand prior to start (license required if applicable)Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE-accredited program requiredExperience with Cerner EMR requiredCOVID and flu vaccinations requiredFirst-time travelers are accepted\n Benefits\n
