The Float nurse will follow all Bon Secours policies and procedures. These nurses float to all sites in our Richmond market and float to all inpatient units (Med Surg, Telemetry, Step Down, Critical Care) based on skill set.\n\nRegistered Nurse (RN) – Richmond Float Facilities -\n

• St. Mary's Hospital (Richmond – West End)\n
• St. Francis Medical Center (Midlothian)\n
• Richmond Community Hospital (Richmond-Churchill)\n
• Memorial Regional Medical Center (Mechanicsville)\n
• Southside Medical Center (Petersburg)\n\nUnit Availability - Includes but not limited to : \n
• Med Surg - Ortho - Oncology\n
• Step Down / Telemetry\n
• Progressive Care (PCU)\n
• Critical Care / Intensive Care (ICU / CCU)\n
• Behavioral Health (Must also have floor med / surg experience)\n
• Emergency Department (ER)\n\nFloat Team Flexibility!\n
• 36 hours a week\n
• Self-Scheduling – pick your availability\n
• 1 Summer and 1 Winter holiday required\n
• Every Third Weekend Required\n
• Full Time night shift\n
• Shift differential available for night and weekend shifts\n\nEssential Functions : \n
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team\n
• Provide advanced treatment and care to patients with complex diagnoses\n
• Evaluates, updates and revises plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes\n
• Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and Bon Secours policies and procedures\n
• Other duties as assigned\n\nEducation : \n
• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing\n\nLicensing & Certifications : \n
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)\n
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)\n
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association required\n\nExperience\n
