Buyer II

Pay Range : $35.00 -$42.00 / hour

Work schedule : M-F 8-5pm with flexibility - OT required

100% Onsite Role

As a Buyer II, you will play a key role in managing the procurement process for the organization, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. This role will be responsible for resolving any procurement, quality, invoice, and inventory related issue including appropriate SAP transactions. Part consumption behavior and other part characteristic analysis will be a key component for this position. Interface with customer service, internal and external suppliers, Product Engineering, and Production is critical to ensure a high level of support to satisfy the customer.

Required Qualifications :

" Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university

" 3 years of experience performing purchasing and production planning functions in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualification :

" Proficient experience with Purchasing and Planning using SAP.

" APICS certification (CPIM).

" Demonstrated capability of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies Green Belt certification a plus.

" Demonstrated Negotiation Experience

" Proven experience with quality assurance and reporting accuracy.

" Proven knowledge and applications skills with process improvements.

" Ability to work with Engineering teams and all Operations related departments.
