Moore Mechanical is part of the MM Acquisitions group of HVAC and plumbing companies. We currently cover most of the Lower Peninsula and have eight office locations. We’ve grown significantly over the last several years and plan to continue on this growth trajectory.

Compensation

Compensation will be heavily dependent upon experience.

Role Description

This fulltime position involves starting-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting complex commercial HVAC systems. These systems will have typically been recently installed and must be made to properly function under tight deadlines. The ability to quickly diagnose and fix issues is a must. You will often have lower-level technicians at your disposal to assist you in your efforts. You also will be regularly coordinating with other trades, such as control system engineers and electricians.

This role will report to the management of the local branch office. A company phone, laptop or tablet, and vehicle will be provided. Health insurance and retirement savings benefits are offered.

Qualifications

The right candidate should have at least 5-years of experience as a senior-level commercial HVAC technician, with at least 10-years of total HVAC experience. You must have the ability to remain calm and very organized in high-pressure situations, and have a history of creating plans-of-attack and directing teams. You must be physically capable of accessing and assessing commercial HVAC equipment. A strong working knowledge of the other trades that you interface with (for instance control systems and electrical circuitry) is required.
