Job Description

Primary Function-

To develop project opportunities for Pacific Rim Mechanical's Service Group by working with existing clients and by building new relationships.

Typical Duties-

  • Primary focus on owner-direct repairs, replacements, retrofits, and tenant improvements.
  • Identifying and developing business opportunities with new and existing customers by utilizing your product knowledge & applications experience in the HVAC market
  • Successfully match customer pain / requirements to proposed solutions
  • Create and deliver presentations that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
  • Obtain, assemble, and organize all project documentation to turnover to operations

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience-

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer.
  • Proven track record selling complex solutions.
  • Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives.
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and creativity skills.
  • This position requires a strong technical or mechanical background along with the ability to learn engineering concepts.
  • Passion for meeting customers.
  • Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Business, or other technical disciplines) and or two year related trade school.
  • 5+ years of working and demonstrable knowledge of Commercial HVAC systems.
  • 1+ years of experience providing direct management / leadership experience involving reps, consulting. engineers, and contractors, with a thorough understanding of the commercial sales process.
  • Knowledge of control systems and DDC.
  • Salary Range-

    $100,000 - $200,000 annually (FSLA Exempt)

    Total earnings can surpass $200,000, depending on performance and commission
