Job Summary
This position supports the work of the Vice President for Harvard Public Affairs and Communications and the Assistant Vice President and Chief of Staff, HPAC. Reporting to the Managing Director of Administration, HPAC, this position independently performs a wide range of complex and confidential administrative and clerical support duties. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to provide information and service to a wide range of internal and external contacts. Requires knowledge of the University and departmental policies and procedures. Includes responsibility for executive office management as appropriate.

Additional Information
This is a confidential position exempt from the bargaining unit. The role has a 35 / hour workweek, and some overtime may be required. Hybrid role with a two-day per week on campus minimum requirement; other days and times as needed.
Work Format Details
This is a position that is based at a Harvard campus location with some remote work options available. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process. All remote work must be performed within one of the Harvard Registered Payroll States, which currently includes Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, Washington, and California (CA for exempt positions only). Certain visa types and funding sources may limit work location. Individuals must meet work location sponsorship requirements prior to employment.
Salary Grade and Ranges
