Responsibilities Work in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) of a hospital Night shift schedule, 7 : 00pm to 7 : 30am, three 12-hour shifts per week Provides care for adult patients with cardiac and critical conditions Unit is a Level 1 Trauma environment EPIC EMR system experience required Contribute to evidence-based patient care planning and delivery as part of an interdisciplinary team Responsible for ongoing patient assessments, individualized care planning, and evaluation of outcomes Perform patient and family education using hospital resources and adapt teaching for readiness and comprehension Participate in data collection, performance improvement, and implementation of best practices Collaborate and communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team RTO (time off) is limited to 7 days per 13-week contract Workers may not be on continuous assignment for more than 1 year and must take a 6-month break before returning No travel partners accepted for this assignment Scrub color or dress code not specified Requirements Active Illinois RN license (temporary licenses accepted) Bachelor's degree in Nursing required American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum of one year nursing experience in a relevant setting Experience in Level 1 Trauma and with EPIC EMR required Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-611654.
