About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Care Navigator to join our growing team. This is a full-time, exempt, remote role, with standard Pacific Time hours (10am-6pm), Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturday support required for client onboarding or urgent issues.
As a Care Navigator, you will be the first point of contact for both clients and providers, ensuring a seamless, supportive experience across every interaction. You will help people access and navigate their mental health care, advocate for their needs, and provide empathetic support while juggling multiple tasks. Tech-savviness and comfort with EHR and CRM systems are important. This is a remote role, ideal for someone energized by working in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
What You'll Do
- Act as the first point of contact for clients and providers via email, text, chat, and phone.
- Provide empathetic communication to clients, ensuring they feel heard and supported.
- Conduct proactive outreach to welcome new clients, confirm appointments and assist with documentation.
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits, obtain necessary authorizations, and communicate coverage details to clients and providers.
- Support providers through onboarding, training, and ongoing care delivery.
- Resolve questions directly when possible, escalating complex issues appropriately.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and client forms.
- Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to coordinate care and strengthen communication.
- Provide non-clinical support only, escalating all clinical or urgent concerns to licensed providers or designated teams.
- Candidates must have a secure, private home workspace with reliable high-speed internet, consistent with HIPAA requirements for handling sensitive health information.

Clients and providers feel supported and receive prompt, empathetic responses.Documentation and workflows are consistently completed on time and with accuracy.Issues are resolved effectively, with complex cases escalated appropriately.Collaboration with clinical and operations teams strengthens communication and care delivery.The Experience, Traits and Skills You'll Have
Minimum 2 years of healthcare customer service experience required, with preference for digital health or telehealth settings.Experience with insurance verification, prior authorization, or medical billing is a plus.Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, public health, or related field preferred.Well-versed in EHRs, support tools, telehealth platforms and Microsoft Office suite. Experience with AdvancedMD or Salesforce a plus.Proven success supporting high volumes of clients while maintaining empathy and quality.Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of confidentiality and in compliance with HIPAA and company policies.Remote work experience with a secure, private home workspace with reliable high-speed internet.Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Strong and confident communicator, and effective with both clinical and non-clinical audiences.Solid problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to operational challenges.Collaborative team player with empathy and commitment to supporting clients and providers.Benefits
