Neurology Locum Portsmouth, VA

Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center is seeking a BC Neurologist for locum coverage starting ASAP. Mix of inpatient / outpatient (50 / 50), light volumes ( 8 / day, 3 inpatient), and call coverage. Multiple week-long blocks open in Fall 2025. VA license / DEA required.

Job Details : Start : ASAP

Schedule : 8am 5pm; Call 5pm 8am; Weekend Call 8am 8am

Setting : Clinic & Hospital (50% Outpatient / 50% Inpatient)

Call Ratio : 15%

Patient Volumes : 8 patients / day, 3 hospital-based patients / day

Team : 2 Physicians, 1 APP, supported by 2 LPNs & 1 MA

Onsite Services : Lab & X-ray

EMR : Epic / Connect Care

Required Procedures : EEG, EMG, Brain Death Exam, Radiologic Exam Interpretation (unofficial)

Requirements :

Board Certification Required

Active Virginia License & DEA Required (at time of submission, no exceptions)

BLS Required- IPL can help with this!
