Schedule 6 : 45 AM - 7 : 15 PM Job Description We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiac Progressive Care Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will care for patients with complex cardiac conditions in a fast-paced environment. The unit comprises 40 beds and typically operates with a nursing team that includes Charge Nurses, bedside nurses, Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), and a Unit Secretary. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to cardiac patients. Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team. Administer medications and titrate IV cardiac medications as necessary. Perform bedside procedures including cardioversion. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate patient documentation in the EMR system (Cerner). Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Stepdown or progressive care experience. Telemetry experience. Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications (e.g., nitroglycerine, Cardizem, amiodarone). Required certifications : BLS, ACLS.
