Quality Technician
Compensation : $25.00 - $30.00
Location : Rochester Hills, MI
Employment Type : Contract
Work Schedule : Onsite

Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and thorough inspections of various parts and assemblies
- Identify and document non-conformances, communicating findings across all levels of the organization
- Define root causes and implement corrective actions for non-conformances
- Perform detailed follow-ups on corrective actions to ensure resolution
- Support quality functions within operations, including workmanship and packaging standards
- Utilize knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems in inspection activities
Qualifications Skills & Knowledge
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T symbolsProficient in using basic mechanical and electrical inspection and measuring toolsExperience performing calibration of hand tools and interpreting resultsStrong problem-solving and root cause analysis skillsEffective written and verbal communication abilitiesHighly organized, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervisionExperience & Education
Associate degree or technical certificate in an engineering or quality discipline orMinimum 3 years of experience in a quality assurance or inspection rolePrevious experience as a machinist, machine builder, or assembler preferredEqual Employment Opportunity
